Who this policy covers
Rope Drop Dad is an independent vacation-planning resource operated by James Rollo. Personalized quotes and booking assistance are provided through Sun Chaser Travel. This notice covers information collected through this website. Your travel agency or supplier may provide a separate privacy notice when you continue with a quote or booking.
Information you choose to share
A quote request asks for your name, email address, trip type and permission to contact you. You can also provide a phone number, dates, departure airport, party size, children’s ages, budget, room preferences and other priorities. Optional details help make the request more useful. Do not include payment-card details, passport numbers or information you do not want used for the inquiry.
If you sign up for planning emails, we collect the contact information and interests you submit for that purpose. Marketing permission is separate from permission to answer a vacation request.
How inquiry information is used
We use the information to record your request, understand your travel preferences, support follow-up through Sun Chaser Travel and keep track of your permissions. Resort references, campaign tags and any post or deal you paste preserve the request’s context. A request reference identifies the saved inquiry; it is not a public lookup link. Submitting the form does not make a booking or authorize a payment.
Service providers and sharing
Quote information is collected for Rope Drop Dad and Sun Chaser Travel to handle your inquiry. Hosting and database providers process information needed to operate the website. Current services include Railway for website hosting and Lovable’s managed Supabase database. Providers may process or store information outside your country.
We do not sell inquiry information. If you proceed with travel arrangements, your advisor will explain what information the relevant suppliers need and the terms that apply.
Browser storage and technical records
Links can carry a resort reference, trip selection or campaign tag into the form. Team sign-in uses browser storage for authentication. Hosting services may keep technical records such as requested pages, timestamps, IP addresses and errors for operation and security. The current application does not send quote answers to advertising or analytics services.
Keeping and deleting information
Inquiry records are kept for handling the request, related follow-up and legitimate record-keeping. They are not automatically erased when you close your browser. You can ask for access, correction or deletion through the contact options below. Requests are handled manually, and identity verification may be needed before information is disclosed or changed. Records needed for an ongoing booking, a dispute or a legal requirement may need to be retained.
Your choices and contact
You can leave optional fields blank, decline optional marketing or ask us to stop follow-up. To make a privacy request, use the private contact channel on the Contact page and identify the email address used for your request. Avoid putting personal information in public comments.
Families and external websites
The website is intended for adults planning travel. Children’s ages are travel-planning information provided by an adult. Links to suppliers and social platforms take you to websites with their own privacy practices. Review those notices before sharing information there.
